Responsibilities will include:Support, maintain, and manage the technical aspects of managed solutions.Work independently to resolve incidents/requests, providing timely updates and ensuring compliance with SLAs.Proactively identify, investigate, and analyze issues, logging incidents and capturing relevant information for immediate resolution.Plan, coordinate, and implement complex system changes within client-specified change windows, minimizing disruption to day-to-day business operations.Monitor performance levels and capacity of supported applications, contributing to proper capacity planning and management.Identify recurring issues and initiate problem management.Collaborate with automation teams to optimize efforts and automate routine tasks.Test new software versions and patches for release suitability and problem resolution.Maintain detailed technical documentation and operational procedures for supported solutions.Review architecture, design, and as-built documentation, providing recommendations for improvements.Assist with project delivery, ensuring alignment with business benefits and facilitating operational handover.Contribute to onboarding new clients into Managed Services support.Mentor L1/L2 Engineers, offering technical expertise and guidance.Operate within Security and Compliance frameworks.Understand and comply with the requirements of a 24x7 on-call operation.Core Technologies:Linux (RHEL, CentOS)Backup (Veeam, PPDM, Networker, NetApp)Storage (DellEMC)Server Infrastructure (DellEMC, HP, Cisco)Windows Server (2012R2, 2016, 2019, 2022)Specializations:Backup: Data Domain, Veeam, NetworkerHyperscale Cloud: Azure/AWSActive Directory, SCCM/WSUSCitrix: Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop, NetscalerMessaging & Collaboration: Exchange, Teams, O365Storage: NetApp, DellEMCVMwareRequired Experience:5-8 years' experience in core technologies3+ years' experience in two or more specializationsManaged Services experienceExcellent knowledge and experience in ticketing tools, preferably Service NowAdvanced diploma, degree, or relevant qualification in IT/Computing (or demonstrated equivalent work experience)Highly Regarded:Bachelor's degree in IT or a related disciplineDesirable:Automation technologies: Ansible, JenkinsScripting: Powershell, Bash, PythonTaniumPAM: Thycotic/XTAMMonitoring: IcingaSnow CommanderSalary:$140,000 DoE #J-18808-Ljbffr
