As the Stock Controller, you will ensure accurate stock management across the factory by investigating discrepancies, maintaining reliable ERP data, coordinating stock takes, and collaborating with departments to guarantee compliance and availability of all raw materials, parts, and components.
This role is not solely desk-based; your days will involve a blend of administrative tasks, conducting physical inventory checks, and collaborating with staff on the production floor.
Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure a smooth supply of components to production.Plan and complete regular physical stock counts (cycle counts) to ensure accurate inventory records and discover discrepancies.Perform regular reconciliation of stock levels, including investigating any discrepancies between physical stock counts and system records.Input stock take results into the inventory management system.Identify and resolve issues related to stock discrepancies or inventory management processes.Ensure company compliance relating to stock management and inventory control.Assist the Warehousing team in the delivery of raw materials to assembly lines, booking finished assemblies, and storing as required.Co-ordinate with the Planning Manager and Logistics Manager.Essential CriteriaPrevious Stock Controller experience in a manufacturing environment.ERP experience in Pronto or similar software using warehousing and inventory modules.Hands-on approach to managing stock levels.Proficient in the MS Office Suite, primarily Excel (macros).Listens and communicates clearly to influence key stakeholders.Unrestricted working rights in Australia.Forklift Licence (LF).Driver Licence.Hours: 7:30am – 3:30pm OR 8:00am – 4:00pm
