As a Stewarding team member you will be responsible for the cleanliness of our back of house areas including the many kitchens, bars and restaurants across the property.
This position is a physically demanding role with tight time constraints and a high level of attention to detail but very rewarding with a great sense of accomplishment at the end of the day!
This is a fantastic opportunity where you will ensure the highest levels of health and hygiene are maintained at The Star Gold Coast.
A few of your responsibilities: Working closely with our friendly Culinary team to ensure all restaurant equipment is cleaned and restocked ready for every service Ensuring cleaning checklists are completed and hygiene standards maintained Maintain overall cleanliness and organisation of Food and Beverage venues What are we looking for: Flexible availability across to work a variety of shifts in a 24/7 roster Previous experience in kitchen cleaning or heavy manual labour (highly desired) Good communication skills, with a positive and professional attitude Ability to work both solo and as part of large team Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods (desired but not essential) About you: With your exceptional attention to detail and friendly disposition, you will take pride in contributing to our world class experience for our guests.
Your ability to work collaboratively with a large and diverse team will set our Food and Beverage team up for success.
Your role will be pivotal in shaping the success of our venues at The Star.
