This is your chance to contribute to a dynamic team and develop your skills in a variety of stevedoring tasks, including:
Facilitating the loading and discharge of cargo including Containerised breakbulk, and bulk cargoes. Operating machinery such as mobile harbour cranes, forklifts, front end loaders and reach stackers. Driving vehicles on/off Roll-on Roll-off vessels. Conducting shipboard and wharf duties, ship loading, lashing, and unlashing, and other general duties. Ensuring adherence to loading/unloading plans and schedules. About you: We are seeking individuals who have:
Previous stevedoring knowledge and experience Hold the following tickets and skills: C1 Mobile Harbour Crane, Ships crane, Reach stacker, Rigger Must be available to work at short notice. Must be flexible with availability and be able to work day, afternoon, night shifts and weekends as required. Available to work up to 12-hour shifts (as required). Ability to obtain Maritime Safety Identification Card (MSIC) – Mandatory C Class driver's licence (unrestricted or provisional) Strong verbal and written communication skills. A steadfast commitment to safety. Must be 18 years or older. Please note: To be successful, you will need to meet requirements of the recruitment process including pre-employment medical assessment, reference, and background checks for the MSIC.
