The purpose of this role is to plan, execute and liaise in all operational activities to provide a safe, reliable, and efficient operational network while maintaining stakeholder and customer relationships.About the Role:Being an integral part of the Gladstone Leadership Team, you will be responsible for:Plan, coordinate and supervise the end-to-end operational requirements of the Stevedore task including shift management.Ensure labour is provided as defined by customer agreements.Liaise with operators and all other relevant internal and external stakeholders regarding plans, scheduling and approvals.Ensure all equipment activities occurring within the operational areas are performed with a high degree of customer service in a directive on Coordination Plans.Maintain Aurizon performance reporting for the precinct ensuring Customer obligations are achieved.Supervise and assist local incident management and undertake investigations as they arise within the operational environments.Ensure that all employees comply with policies, standards, specifications, protocols and instructions.Maintain rosters and payroll entries in relevant systems.This is not an exhaustive list of position responsibilities. Specific duties may vary over time.Assist with depot and maintenance operation when required.About You:High level of skill in supervising/shift management for stevedoring/logistics operations.Extensive knowledge of the Safety Management System and standards.Substantial skill in planning day of operation activities.Substantial communication, interpersonal, consultation and conflict resolution skills.Substantial skills in the use of information technology and systems, focusing on monitoring, recording and reporting systems, utilised within the precinct environment.What We Offer You:At Aurizon, we support the development and growth of our employees.
