About Your Role
The Assistant QA/QC Officer supports the wider Quality Team in overseeing the entirety of the site's Quality Management System.
Their primary objective is to maintain uniformity in systems and approaches, while ensuring that the company's standards align with TGA regulations and other industry norms.
The ideal applicant will be someone with current experience and have a strong eye for detail supported with strong Microsoft Office skills.
A proactive, can-do attitude is also a must!
Duties & Responsibilities
Perform and/or assist with all quality control activities.
Ensure the maintenance and accessibility of all quality-related documents.
Maintain systems to meet regulatory and customer requirements.
Ensure that all records enable comprehensive traceability.
Assist with coordination of customer validations.
Assist with the calibration of all equipment related to quality.
Perform daily QC inspection and release.
Document and track quality-related matters, including problems, process failures, deviations from process specifications, preventive and corrective actions, customer complaints, audit non-conformances, and similar incidents.
Undertake any additional responsibilities, in line with skills, qualifications, and experience, as may be occasionally required.
About You
Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
Possess exceptional communication skills, particularly in matters of compliance.
Displays a confident and self-assured demeanor while maintaining an attentive and receptive approach when dealing with customers and regulatory audits.
Flexible and adept at working collaboratively in a team environment.
Demonstrates thoroughness, comprehensiveness, drive, and enthusiasm in all tasks.
Exhibits a strong awareness and commitment to prioritizing safety.
Experience and Qualifications
Experience working in a highly regulated industry (Healthcare / Medical Device Manufacture / Medicine Manufacturing) preferred.
Bachelor's degree not required.
Quality Assurance / Quality Control experience not required.
Successful candidates will be required to undergo background checks.
