We are seeking a dynamic and experienced State Manager to lead our state-based client-facing team. This role is pivotal in conserving our existing employer/member base while identifying and generating new business opportunities.Some Key Responsibilities:Management and leadership of state-based account management team including supervision of their duties and responsibilities.Role model the client service frameworks by providing clear direction and clarity around expectations to your state-based account management team.Leadership and motivation of the state-based account management team to achieve state targets and objectives.Ongoing training, development and coaching of staff to meet all sales and service requirements of employers/members.Ensuring team are compliant with the mandatory accreditation requirements of RG146.Retention and growth of the state's employer/member portfolio through various servicing and engagement activities.Lead and drive growth initiatives to achieve state-based growth objectives.Develop and maintain deep relationships with key stakeholders and business partners of Hostplus, including attendance at industry and partner events, conferences and awards programs, as required by the Regional or Executive Manager, Client Relationships and New Business.Support the state-based account management team in the development and execution of individual business plans.About youProven track record of leadership and account management within the superannuation industry or financial services sector.Experience in motivating, leading, coaching and managing a high performing Account Management team.Proven ability to develop and implement successful account management and sales strategies, including the development and growth of strong B2B relationships.Knowledge of the industrial relations environment and superannuation issues (e.g., State/Federal Awards and EBAs).Relevant tertiary qualifications (Desirable).RG 146 compliant.What can we offer you?Our employees are passionate about what we do and are proud to be part of an organisation which helps everyday Australians achieve a brighter future.
