SMYA is headquartered in Sydney and is present in all the major states across Australia and in Auckland, New Zealand.Part of the Group, Cospak Australia aims to provide organisations with a variety of total packaging solutions within the Australian, New Zealand and Asian markets.An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced State Manager to lead our SA/WA Team.Your new role:Based in Wingfield and reporting to the General Manager Australia, this role is responsible for total branch performance across Sales, Customer Service and Warehouse Operations. Leading a fast-paced, dynamic Sales and Operational team, this role has responsibility for developing our people, delivering customer centricity, generating sales and achieving profitable growth.Responsibilities include:Create and execute the branch business plans in line with Company Vision, Mission and Values.Ensure branch profitability and P&L management.Provide sound leadership for the branch inclusive of the development of personnel.Responsible for the strategic growth of Cospak in the SA & WA market inclusive of new business development and managing a sales territory.Pride yourself and the team in setting and exceeding client expectations.Cultivate effective business relationships with decision-makers in current and new accounts.Lead from the front by providing the sales team with hands-on support to achieve their budgets.Implementation of improvements within the branch.Reporting and presenting on Branch people and performance.Your experience and skills:Tertiary qualifications in Sales/Marketing or related field Ideal.Previous experience within the packaging industry would be Ideal.Strong people management and leadership experience including employee engagement, training and development, mentoring and coaching.Well-honed leadership skills.Supply Chain knowledge essential.Credible and highly effective at negotiating and influencing at all levels, both internally and externally – especially B2B.Experience with SAP highly regarded - training provided.Demonstrated knowledge of market research, product and industry knowledge.Open and inclusive communication style.Excellent commercial acumen and analytical skills.What we can offer you:Competitive remuneration.Fully maintained company vehicle.Performance Incentive Scheme.A subsidiary of a listed global parent company investing in the future.If you are looking for a work environment that focuses on employee health and wellbeing, development, having fun, encourages teamwork and collaboration across all levels of the business and provides a challenge, then we want to hear from you.To be considered for this role, applicants must have permanent legal rights to live and work in Australia without restrictions.Sound like you?
