General/Business Unit Manager (CEO & General Management) Full time $190,000 - $220,000 + Company Vehicle + Super Austcorp Executive are partnering with an Australian owned transport and freight company working closely with the mining industry within WA.
This person will be Perth based and responsible for overseeing, planning, organizing, and managing the maintenance of all assets across the state.
This person will manage multi-skilled teams of managers, supervisors and trades people to ensure maintenance works are completed to the highest industry standards.
This role will be Perth Based with some travel across WA.
As the State Maintenance Manager your duties will be but not limited to: Work with Site Managers across WA to prioritize and schedule work to ensure production targets are achieved without compromising on maintenance and equipment integrity Oversee the maintenance management of the companies fleet of heavy transport and mining vehicles and equipment Develop and implement improved maintenance schedules, procedures and regimes Manage and update companies electronic maintenance system Ensure compliance with the relevant legislation and management of sound employee relations and safety practices Promote a strong safety culture within the organization A little about you: Australian Certified Heavy Mechanical Trade Qualification Proven experience managing multiple maintenance teams at once Extensive prime mover and trailer knowledge Exposure to WA Mining Industry Able to manage and maintain a comprehensive electronic maintenance record system Ability to motivate, plan, prioritize and lead the team Position is available to residential applicants or those willing to relocate Whats in it for you?
