The Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) is on the hunt for a skilled People and Culture Business Partner to support a range of critical business projects and programs over the next 12 months.
This part-time role (approx.
3 days per week) is ideal for someone looking to make a meaningful contribution while maintaining work-life balance.

In this role, you'll apply your expertise to deliver outcomes that drive meaningful change.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading impactful projects: Utilize your strong project and program management skills to execute initiatives effectively.
Engaging stakeholders: Build and nurture relationships through highly effective communication and collaboration.
Innovative problem-solving: Leverage creative design thinking to address challenges and develop solutions.
HR expertise: Apply your deep understanding of HR practices, policies, principles, and legislation.
Experience in the Victorian Public Sector (VPS) and familiarity with fire and land management services will be highly regarded.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
Sound understanding of relevant VPS HR legislation, policy frameworks and workplace agreements.
Experience in case managing a range of human resource issues, with extensive knowledge of employee relations management and of contemporary developments in human resource management including the successful delivery of outcomes in complex and/or changing business environments.
Experience as a trusted advisor and demonstrated ability to build credible relationships that influence change and enhance manager capability in HR and people management.
Adept at managing competing priorities and demands of a diverse range of stakeholders, grasping complex business issues and using sound judgement in recommending effective approaches.
This is a fixed term position available for a period of 12 months.
The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
