The right applicant will be well supported by this high performing team to successfully work in the Cancer and Wellness Centre and with the current Mc Grath Breast Cancer Nurse. Key Responsibilities: Providing evidence based care to people with a cancer diagnosisPatient centered cancer care coordination across a variety of settings and servicesProviding supportive care to patients and their familiesWork collaboratively within a multidisciplinary teamWork with others to improve consumer and community engagement around the issues relating to prostate cancer Required Qualifications: Qualifications in Oncology Nursing, Breast Cancer Nursing is desirableProven experience in care coordinationHigh-level awareness of best practice in contemporary cancer nursing, current evidence based breast cancer nursing and supportive careDemonstrated knowledge of pathways, resources and frameworks specific to Breast CancerStrong clinical skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to monitor own practice to provide quality careThis position requires completion of a satisfactory National Police Check and (where relevant) provision of a Working With Children Check and check on the Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme prior to appointment.
