About the Role Full-time - Fixed Term until 30/06/2025 The role is to exercise, under supervision, the coordination for the HCM and Payroll Program reporting directly to the HCM and Payroll Program Director and assisting the Project Managers and team as required. It has a clear focus on adding value to the department by supporting the program to deliver a large-scale organisational systems project and a range of strategies and initiatives. This role will provide key administrative project support to the HCM and Payroll Program Team.
Seeking a detail-oriented professional with experience in project management office support, preferably in government settings, and strong skills in written communication, organisation, and time management. The ideal candidate will excel in stakeholder collaboration, work autonomously, demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office, and possess knowledge of project management methodologies such as PRINCE2, Waterfall, and Agile.
Position Outcomes / Accountabilities Support the HCM Project with a variety of project work, implementing the SAP Success Factors System and delivery of related project activities. Provide administration support to ensure a streamlined delivery for the project including scheduling and calendar management. Support general project coordination including project reporting, development and review of processes, preparation of papers and delivering presentations. Provide administrative support in coordinating team meetings, training sessions/workshops, drafting of meeting minutes and maintaining up-to-date raid/action logs. Coordinate the project onboarding and recruitment process and prepare the relevant documentation to support this activity. Support the program procurement process for contracts. Support the PMO Manager to manage project governance including documenting the outcome of Project Control Board/Stage Gate meetings and undertaking quality assurance on key project artefacts. Ensure that records and data are maintained in an effective manner that enables easy access for the preparation of project reports, briefings, minutes and other documentation as required. Proactively undertake project health checks and monitor data quality in the Program Management system, working closely with the Project Managers and other key stakeholders to ensure data is accurate and timely. Qualifications and Experience Relevant tertiary qualification. Previous government experience in project support role. Understanding of project management principles.
