The Role
The Paralegal will be a member of the growing legal organization, responsible for providing administrative support and for implementing and managing best practices and processes to enhance efficiency. This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated, experienced and detail-oriented individual to play an important role in the operation of the legal department of a global, publicly traded software company that emphasizes innovation, collaboration and execution. The Paralegal is an individual contributor role reporting to the Principal Corporate Governance Specialist. Your Impact
Help maintain corporate record books and records and oversee periodic filings for domestic and international subsidiaries. Assist with managing the department budget, including purchase orders, forecasting and payments of vendor invoices. Maintain electronic legal department files. Complete and process requested vendor documentation and powers of attorney. Support and manage various other projects effectively as requested, including the areas of human resources, intellectual property and litigation management. Provide on-going administrative support, as needed. What You'll Need
5+ years of related paralegal experience (a combination of law firm and in-house experience would be ideal) Associate's degree and/or paralegal certificate. English speaking necessary. Attention to detail and comfort with deadlines. Discretion, sound judgment, tact, diplomacy and confidentiality in all communications. Strong bias for action, well-organized, self-assured, and willing to work irregular hours on an occasional basis. Confidence to work well under pressure while maintaining a high level of quality. Outstanding verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Well-developed business acumen, including curiosity and awareness of current business activities and initiatives. Proficiency with MS Office including SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience working with Diligent (preferred)
