The Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA) is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government's multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. We're delivering world-class health facilities across Victoria including new public hospitals and emergency care, community health services, ambulance branches, residential aged care and mental health facilities. VHBA also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management and environmental sustainability disciplines.
The Opportunity: The Project Officer provides comprehensive administrative and coordination support throughout the entire project lifecycle, ensuring effective execution of project plans and successful delivery of project objectives. This role involves managing project activities, documentation, and schedules, while assisting project managers with planning, monitoring progress, and facilitating communication between stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: Provide support in the preparation and presentation of reports, governance papers, ministerial briefs, cabinet submissions on project-related matters. Maintain positive relationships with project teams, consultants, and stakeholders to facilitate a partnership approach. We are looking for: Excellent written communication skills to assist with the preparation of briefs, letters, emails, reports, and minutes using clear, concise, and grammatically correct language. Problem-solving skills; someone who seeks all relevant information of the problem, coordinates the facts, liaises with stakeholders, and considers workable solutions. Attention to detail; someone who observes fine details, follows processes and templates, coordinates information, and presents information in a logical sequence.
