THE ROLE Reporting to the Executive Director, Housing Outcomes and Pathways, and as a member of the Housing Outcomes and Pathways Executive Team, the Director is responsible for the management and leadership of a large team that delivers multiple critical, state-wide functions including lease management.
The Director will develop and deliver functional strategies that align with Homes Victoria's Corporate Plan, introduce new ways of working and business improvement projects, that leverage strong internal relationships and metrics to provide advice. The role has a strong focus on improved renter and sector engagement, risk management, and delivering commercial and quality community outcomes.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE Lead and execute new strategies and initiatives to improve Victoria's social housing services for people who use services, including supporting the efficient management of housing assets and delivering best practice services for service users and community partners. Translate strategic directions into successful project delivery, bringing business acumen and a focus on achieving client-oriented and organisational value for money outcomes (financial and non-financial). Use executive leadership to develop and implement a delivery plan for unit responsibilities including a management and reporting arrangement for lease management and other critical housing functions.
