The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) is a jurisdiction within the Court Services Victoria statutory authority and has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state.
About the Role The focus of this role is to provide high-level technical and administrative support to the Strategic Advisor, Listings and Allocations within the chambers of the Chief Magistrate, and to provide on-site administrative assistance as part of the Judicial Support Unit at Melbourne Magistrates' Court.
Key duties of the role include assisting the Strategic Advisor, Listings and Allocations with preparation and maintenance of roster systems, and daily communications in relation to management of coordination issues.
About You Applicants should hold experience in court registry operations and require knowledge of practice, procedure and protocol relevant to the Magistrates' Court and related jurisdictions. An understanding of coordination functions, such as case management and listing protocol, is advantageous.
