Having recently been purchased by a well known Australian family, the business is now looking to further increase its presence in the Western Australia commercial market.The RoleReporting to our National Commercial Sales Manager, this is a diverse role where you will be working closely with our WA distributor building strong strategic long term relationships with architects, designers, builders, developers, contractors and installers promoting brand awareness, securing and upholding product specifications ensuring Armstrong Flooring is the brand of choice.
Given the nature of the role, daily travel throughout metropolitan Perth will be required servicing our existing client base, sourcing new business opportunities and achieving sales targets.Key Duties/Responsibilities include:Proactively develop and maintain strong relationships with architects, designers and key contractors to maximize product specifications and profitable salesDevelop and increase sales through commercial customers, flooring contractors and buildersResearch and generate strategic new business relationships and opportunitiesBuild a high quality customer portfolioSpecifically target development in the commercial specification marketPresent our range of products to customers both one on one and in group settingsAbout You:To excel in this role, ideally you will have:Experience in a similar role within the building Industry, specifically with internal finishesStrong understanding of the commercial account and specification process from specifying with architects through to following it through with builders and end usersAbility to build and maintain relationships with architects, builders and contractorsStrong presentation and negotiation skillsExceptional organisational skillsArticulate, responsible and polished approachA results driven, proactive attitude is a must!If you're passionate about top quality Australian made products and love to work in a collaborative environment, this position is right for you.
