Description About the business On the corner of St Georges Terrace and Barrack Street in the heart of Perth, stands the historic State Buildings. The Opportunity Beer Corner is seeking a full-time Duty Manager to support and complement our management team. This is a fantastic opportunity to step up and bring your experience into a premium setting. Support will be provided by State Buildings' management to develop and progress your career by providing opportunities to learn and grow in the industry. Expectations would include developing front of house staff, implementing operational procedures, and ensuring a spectacular guest experience.
Duties & Responsibilities Oversee the operational efficiency of the restaurant during the shift. Assist in the implementation of the department's Standard Operating Procedures. Supervise team members to ensure they provide a superior service and create memorable experiences for guests responding to requests, enquiries and complaints. Maintain knowledge of products, services, policies and procedures. Ensure the team maintains a professional manner at all times and are up to date with VIP guest movements, hotel events, local attractions and activities. Liaise with the Kitchen Team on a daily basis to ensure the food program is being delivered as per expectation. Work closely with all other departments to maximise experience and profitability within the food and beverage offering. Maintain close working relationships with Department Heads to ensure a seamless guest experience. Support and assist the team to ensure they are fully conversant with all food and beverage procedures. Previous supervisory and or management experience. A strong hospitality background. Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to deliver memorable experiences to every guest. Obtained an RSA certificate and Approved Managers (preferred). Role Type #J-18808-Ljbffr
