The large hospital provides a full range of services to the local community, including elective surgery, obstetrics, a busy emergency department, oncology, and paediatrics services.
Compensation and Reimbursement ISLHD MHS will reimburse the agency on invoice for accommodation. The allowance is $200 per night plus GST. Please attach accommodation invoice/receipts marked as Paid.
ISLHD MHS will also reimburse the cost of hire cars (medium/intermediate sedan/hatch only). If a locum is using their own car, mileage will be reimbursed to the candidate VIA Vmoney only at the ATO rate, currently 88 cents per kilometre. There is NO allowance available for candidates that wish to make their own car hire arrangements or do not have claimable mileage.
