Telecommunications (Information & Communication Technology)Clerk Grade: 11/12, base salary starting at $139,787 - $161,663 plus superannuationEmployment Type: Ongoing, Full-time opportunityLocation: Sydney, Gosford, Bathurst, Tweed Heads - hybrid working options and flexible working arrangements availableAbout the role:We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and strategic-minded Stakeholder Engagement Manager to join NSW Telco Authority (NSWTA) within the Department of Customer Service. This position will play a key role in leading strategic engagement with the Commonwealth and telecommunications industry.The role is accountable for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with Commonwealth ministerial offices and departments. You will bring proven experience of influencing senior stakeholders, build and leverage effective relationships with internal business partners and be able to communicate technical information in clear and simple language.In this role, you will:Provide expert strategic advice, recommendations and solutions which demonstrate an advanced understanding of the Australian telecommunications regulatory environment.Build and maintain positive, influential relationships with external stakeholders including ministerial offices, government agencies and industry to enable the delivery of NSWTA priorities such as Public Safety Mobile Broadband.Develop and execute stakeholder engagement strategies to support NSWTA's strategic vision and achieve organisational objectives.Be a leader that builds on our team culture and delivers results for NSWTA.To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:Experience engaging and influencing Commonwealth agencies (or equivalent), industry bodies and/or stakeholders across an industry to further the interests and strategic priorities of an organisation.Experience in community engagement, ministerial office or similar corporate engagement role with demonstrated skill working with high level federal or state government stakeholders.Excellent communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.Experience building networks and collaborating with subject matter experts to develop clear and timely communications.Tertiary qualification and/or experience in relevant field.To be eligible to apply for this role you must be an Australian citizen and, as a condition of employment, obtain and maintain an Australian Government security clearance.What we need from you:Review the role description and apply by submitting an up-to-date CV and maximum two-page cover letter outlining how your skills and experience are aligned to the role (please upload your resume and cover letter as 1 document).For enquiries regarding this position, please contact John Mikelsons on About NSW Telco AuthorityNSW Telco Authority operates and manages the Public Safety Network to deliver radio communications for frontline responders.
