The Inland Rail Program is a 1600km rail infrastructure project stretching from Brisbane to Melbourne incorporating new and existing rail track. The program includes the upgrading of existing standard gauge track, the enhancement of existing standard gauge track to cater for double stacking and the construction of new standard gauge links comprising of viaducts, tunnels, rail track, crossings and bridges.About the opportunityAs this exciting major infrastructure project continues to grow across Australia, and due to a recent increased project activity in region, Inland Rail have an opportunity for a Stakeholder Engagement Advisor in the Wagga Wagga region.The main focus of each role will be to support the Inland Rail program through effective delivery of stakeholder and community engagement for the region.Reporting to the Stakeholder Engagement Lead this position will be a key member of the community and project. As the Stakeholder Engagement Advisor, you will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of best practice community and stakeholder engagement by providing continued assistance on the approvals process, construction progress, emerging issues and drive necessary engagement with communities and other stakeholders to identify solutions.
