Sterilising Services Department Operations Manager, St George Hospital.

The Operational Manager will:

Participate in quality activities to improve service delivery and patient outcomes.Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day operational activities of SSD.Assist the Sterilising Services Department Manager in carrying out the functions of the Department.Ensure the department complies with relevant standards & policies.

Minimum Requirements:

Extensive experience in Hospital Sterilising Services, sound theoretical & practical knowledge of all aspects of sterilising practices and standards.Certificate III in Sterilisation Services (HLT37015).Sound knowledge of AS/NZS4187:2014 and other relevant National and International standards.Excellent organisational and leadership skills with the ability to organise team members effectively.Extensive practical experience of the MaQs systems & its components.General knowledge of National standards & demonstrated commitment to Quality Management including implementation of Quality activities.Excellent written & verbal communication skills & computer literacy.Commitment to own personal development.
