About the opportunity

We are looking for a talented and ambitious individual to fill the role of Specimen Reception & Management (SRM) and Collections Manager. The successful candidate will lead a team of Technical Assistants who perform pre-analytical tasks including specimen collection, data entry, and specimen preparation. They will also be the line manager for a small team of courier drivers.

The NSW Health Pathology service at Orange is located within Orange Hospital's Bloomfield campus. In addition, there is a collection centre within Orange CBD and a collection service offered in Molong. NSWHP Orange is a regional referral site and receives samples from other locations in the Central West. We also refer some testing to referral laboratories in Sydney.

Lead and manage the Collections and Specimen Reception team to ensure the delivery of an effective, quality-focused service to support NSWHP Orange services.
