As the Sr. Product Manager - Corporate Systems, you'll take the reins in building out data platform capabilities that empower critical business areas like Supply Chain, Finance, QA, Regulatory Affairs, and HR. You'll be at the intersection of business strategy and technology, partnering with these teams to uncover their most important data needs and helping solve them with the power of our data platform.

You'll dig deep into the strategic priorities of each business unit, understand their goals, and be the go-to person to help them unlock insights, streamline governance, and enable cutting-edge AI/ML initiatives.

Let's talk about Responsibilities
Product Strategy & VisionBe the visionary: Set the strategy for how Corporate Systems (Supply Chain, Finance, HR, QA, Regulatory Affairs, etc.) can best leverage our data platform to meet their needs.
Own the roadmap: Develop and keep a roadmap aligned with the business units' goals while ensuring our data platform stays on the cutting edge of industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes.
Lead with innovation: Continuously look for ways to innovate in the world of data integration, governance, and access.
Stakeholder PartnershipCollaborate and innovate: Work closely with teams from Supply Chain to Finance, HR to Regulatory Affairs. Understand their unique data challenges and help craft solutions that drive their success.
Champion their needs: Be the voice of these teams within the data platform—advocate for features, tools, and insights that make their jobs easier and more efficient.
Be the bridge: Translate technical requirements into language business stakeholders can get excited about and rally teams around a shared vision.
Product Development & ExecutionDrive action: Lead the end-to-end development of new data platform features, making sure we deliver high-impact solutions on time.
Partner with engineers: Work side-by-side with engineering teams to refine technical requirements and prioritize work that delivers maximum business value.
Stay compliant: Ensure our solutions meet data governance, privacy, and regulatory standards, while also pushing the envelope on how we integrate and use data.
Support and share: Encourage adoption of data tools and solutions by offering training, communication, and hands-on support.
Continuous ImprovementMeasure success: Define and track KPIs to ensure we're always improving and providing value to the business units.
Stay curious: Be the driving force behind continuous product iterations and improvements.
Let's talk about Qualifications
Education & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or a related field. A master's degree or MBA is a plus.
We know data + product can be a unique combination. You might be a good candidate if you have:
5+ years of experience in product management, preferably working with data platforms;
OR
5+ years of experience in data roles (data eng, data science, or highly technical analytics) + 1 year product management experience
Experience with data governance, data quality, and data management is highly desirable
History of working in highly regulated industries (healthcare, fintech, etc) is also a big advantage.
Clear understanding of product management best practices and how to activate them in a platform context
Technical SkillsData guru: Deep understanding of the technologies and processes utilized in data platforms and enterprise data management.
Systems savvy: You know your way around ERP, HRIS, and financial systems, understanding how they operate and the data they generate.
Analytical mindset: You can work with data platforms and analytics tools to make sense of complex datasets and drive business decisions.
High level of technical literacy: while our engineers own the "how", our product managers own the "what", "why", and part of the "when." In order to draft comprehensive requirements a successful data platform PM at ResMed must be understand the user personas and use cases for data. They must have a clear understanding for how technology is leveraged to deliver platform solutions in robust, stable, scalable ways. While PMs don't draft the final technical design (engineers do!), successful product managers who are conversant in data technologies can move more rapidly and in tighter collaboration with the team.
