Are you an experienced SQL Database Administrator with a strong background in developing stock procedures and reports using SQL, Oracle, and Crystal Reports? We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a SQL DBA with expertise in stock procedures and reporting. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our database systems, designing and implementing stock procedures, and creating insightful reports to support our business operations.
Responsibilities:
Manage and administer SQL and Oracle databases, including installation, configuration, backup, recovery, and troubleshooting.Develop and optimize stock procedures using SQL and Oracle to support inventory management and stock control processes.Design and create Crystal Reports to generate comprehensive and actionable insights on stock levels, trends, and forecasting.Collaborate with software developers, business analysts, and end-users to gather requirements and translate them into efficient stock procedures and reports.Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure efficient and reliable data access for stock procedures and reporting.Implement database security protocols to protect sensitive stock-related data.Perform regular database maintenance tasks, such as data purging and index rebuilds, to ensure optimal system performance.Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues affecting stock procedures and reporting.Create and maintain documentation for stock procedures, report specifications, and database configurations.Stay up-to-date with the latest database technologies and reporting tools, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience as a SQL Database Administrator, managing large-scale enterprise databases.Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems (Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle).Expertise in writing stock procedures using SQL and Oracle to support inventory management and stock control.Proficiency in creating Crystal Reports for stock reporting and analysis.Familiarity with database security best practices and techniques.Experience with performance tuning and query optimization for stock procedures and reporting.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Strong communication and collaboration abilities.Relevant certifications, such as Oracle Certified Professional, are a plus.If you are passionate about database administration, stock procedures, and reporting, and enjoy working in a collaborative team environment, we would love to hear from you.
