Sql Dba / Developer

The Company Robert Half Technology are working alongside a well-known house-hold name in Brisbane who are looking to expand their ICT team with an additional SQL Developer / DBA. Our client have grown across the whole of Australia and are a market leader in their field.
The Role This is an opportunity for someone to step into a newly created position within the applications team and will be a blend of SQL Development as well as administration and it will be an opportunity to take ownership of the space.
You will be working onsite in their office and will be communicating with multiple departments including I.T, Finance, Stakeholders, etc.
Responsibilities: Design, monitor and maintain application performance tune production databases while ensuring high levels of data availability Work closely with the Apps Manager, Development and Infrastructure teams through detailed analysis and reporting of key SQL databases. Own the database refreshes from production systems Provide support, trace data flow, touch points and resolve data related issues. Develop and application related database archiving / data management plan Requirements: Strong experience working as a SQL Developer / DBA Strong working experience with SQL Server, Clustering, Backup & Recovery, Replication, Performance Monitoring and Tuning, etc. Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle Knowledge of security principles and how they apply to applications Apply Today Learn more about our Brisbane recruitment services:
