An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and highly experienced Spinal Consultant to join our Victorian Spinal Cord Service.
Details of position Hours per week: 38 hours per week (or Job-Share 17.5 hours per week if 2 candidates) Employment Status: Fixed-term Full-time Appointment Period: 6 Months commencing 13th January 2025 to cover leave (Start date negotiable) This role requires the Spinal Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine to: Be a registered Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Hold Fellowship of the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (RACP) Have appropriate training and experience applicable to the field of Rehabilitation and Spinal Medicine Demonstrate a commitment to high quality patient care Demonstrate a commitment to working as a team member with peer medical, junior medical, nursing and other clinical staff to provide efficient, safe and quality care across the continuum Demonstrate a commitment to teaching, training and research Working at Austin Health means enjoying a strong sense of purpose, engaging in meaningful work every day.
