Our aim is to provide the opportunity to build capacity within Speech Pathology and to support dedicated clinicians to accelerate their learning and their career while providing excellent services to our clients. Hearth Allied Health works closely with clients, their families, support workers, and other professionals to achieve their goals.
Hearth Support Services commenced in 2017 with a desire to deliver responsive, quality, hassle-free disability support to clients and has now expanded to add Hearth Allied Health to promote independence and assist clients to lead fulfilling lives at home and within their community.

About the role: Caseload of NDIS clients with a variety of disabilities Work with children (7 yrs.+) and adults in their homes, schools/community Supervision and support from experienced senior clinician and external mentor Opportunity to work with AAC, swallowing/dysphagia, complex communication needs Opportunity to tailor your caseload to your interests and experience Work in interdisciplinary team (OTs, speech pathologists, positive behaviour support practitioners) Continuing education and professional development opportunities Requirements About You: Qualified Speech Pathologist with energy and commitment to working with people with a disability Enjoy working with people with complex communication needs Understanding of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems or willingness to learn Ability to assess and diagnose swallowing disorders Ability to work as an effective team member alongside OT and behaviour support practitioners Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), ability to write information that is accessible for everyone Driven to succeed and committed to continuous learning Qualifications: Bachelor of Speech Pathology or recognised equivalent degree Certified practicing Speech Pathologist with Speech Pathology Australia Employee Working with Children Check/NDIS Worker Screening Check Current driving licence and car If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you.
