Grampians Health Ballarat is looking for passionate experienced or early career Speech Pathologist keen to join our dynamic and innovative team. This is a rare opportunity to obtain a full time permanent Grade 2 role in the acute setting with opportunities to work across a variety of programs in acute inpatients, specialist outpatient clinics and other programs. As a Grade 2 Speech Pathologist you will have the opportunity to lead quality improvement activities, supervise junior staff and students and develop your leadership and management skills.

Discover the Grampians region and a life balance with flexible work arrangements, salary packaging, and a focus on staff wellbeing with 24/7 support through the Grampians Health Employee Assistance Scheme.Key Responsibilities Conduct specialist assessments, plan, and implement targeted interventions across a diverse adult caseload, including acute and sub-acute inpatients, specialist outpatient clinics, and community and aged care settings.Collaborate with clients and carers to develop individualized care plans that address identified and agreed-upon needs.Supervise undergraduate students and work experience placements as directed by the Deputy Manager Speech Pathology or your supervisor.Dedicate 70% of your time to client-facing activities, as evidenced by workload analysis.Skills & Experience Bachelor or tertiary equivalent in Speech Pathology and Certification with Speech Pathology Australia's Certification Program (full or provisional status).Strong knowledge and experience in adult assessment, treatment, and management, with a commitment to quality care and evidence-based practice.Experience with instrumental assessments (VFSS and FEES) desirable.Proven ability to identify and drive quality improvement initiatives and positively influence change.Demonstrated capability to empower others through supervision, role modelling, and training.Current driver's licence.Interested?
