About The RoleGrampians Health is calling for passionate early career Speech Pathologist to join our dynamic Speech Pathology team.

As the Grade 1 Speech Pathologist you will be responsible for a paediatric caseload across a variety of programs, including acute inpatients and community programs.

Engage in social and extracurricular activities including SP and allied health events.Lifestyle: Enjoy more affordable living; unique relaxing lifestyle Discover the Grampians region - Grampians Health; and a life balance with flexible work arrangements, salary packaging, and a focus on staff wellbeing with 24/7 support through the Grampians Health Employee Assistance Scheme.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver client-centered care, including assessment, planning, and interventions for community-based clients, while prioritizing clinical needs and eligibility.Develop and implement evidence-based programs aligned with the clinical program model of care.Maintain effective communication with clients, carers, and multidisciplinary teams through clear handovers, group programs, and community presentations.Actively contribute to quality improvement initiatives and align practice with industry standards and GH values.Promote collaborative practice and build positive relationships within the health sector and community to support holistic patient care.Demonstrate a commitment to health promotion, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of clinical and professional practice.Skills & ExperienceBachelor's degree or equivalent in Speech Pathology and certification with Speech Pathology Australia (full or provisional).Current driver's licence and strong computer literacy.Expertise in assessing and managing paediatric communication and swallowing disorders using evidence-based practices.Commitment to delivering quality care with a solid foundation in theoretical knowledge and clinical application.Please refer to the key selection criteria within the Position Description relevant to the role you are applying for.

Speech Pathology GrantsNew graduates, applying are encouraged to review the Department of Health Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy Grant program, in which grants totalling $15,000 are available for final year students in speech pathology or occupational therapy who choose to practice in regional or rural Victoria upon completion of their courses.
