Collaboration is key to becoming a well-rounded speech pathologist.Ongoing clinical supervision from experienced senior speech pathologists, in person, via Teams/emailTailored supervision and professional development plan to transition theoretical knowledge and skills to practiceRegular monthly group supervision opportunities to discuss with other speech pathologists in the organisationTransdisciplinary group supervision opportunities to discuss and share knowledge with occupational therapists and behaviour support practitionersWhat would my Caseload look like?
Working at AEIOU provides you with early exposure to a wide range of neurodiverse clients, that will help to accelerate your professional growth right from the start.
Each child has an individual plan with individualised goals that is developed by our multidisciplinary team, including you as their Speech Pathologist.Enjoy delivering services in different settings—whether it's running group programs, one on one work with children and parents, or support outreach activities with local schools.
This variety will sharpen your skills and help you find your niche in the field of speech pathology.Our Graduates are introduced to a set caseload of clients to ensure consistent care and the opportunity to implement significant progress as children are seen on a regular basis.
Our caseloads will often be less than in mainstream services and private practices, to allow a high duty of care to our cohort.
We also ensure that all Therapists are provided adequate time for reporting, documenting, planning, supervision, and consultation.Resources

AEIOU ensures that our workforce is informed, educated, and contribute to our professional development initiatives, and we hold a minimum of four (4) professional development days for all Therapy & Education Teams to engage in together.Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)Feeding and SwallowingCommunication across the lifespan, and;Multi-modal communication.In addition, we have opportunities for external training, Speech Pathology Australia Conferences, Career Fairs, Lectures, paid study leave, and are open to ideas from our Therapy team about best practice learning experiences.Flexibility in your role
