AEIOU Foundation offers an exciting, supportive and collaborative environment for Graduate Speech Pathologists wanting to gain experience with neurodivergent individuals.
We have experienced Therapy and Education Teams to support your transition from university into working life with the implementation of our Graduate Program, designed by Speech Pathologists, for Speech Pathologists.
Our Graduate Program offers:
Base salary commencing $83k, with ten level increments and CPI to support salary growth, plus superannuation and salary packaging up to $16k per year.
Five weeks leave, paid Study Leave, Christmas Leave, and anniversary bonuses
Structured and supportive onboarding and orientation in joining AEIOU
Tailored supervision and professional development plan, and a hugely supportive Therapy community available to you.
Flexibility and 'design your experience' approach to your first role; we are open to part-time or full-time opportunities, including a working from home documentation day.

What is covered in Supervision?
AEIOU Foundation have a team of over 19 Therapists contributing to our way of working; expand your skills by working alongside a multidisciplinary team.
Learn from Senior Speech Pathology Practitioners and other Allied Health Professionals and discover new approaches that will enhance your clinical expertise. Collaboration is key to becoming a well-rounded speech pathologist.
Ongoing clinical supervision from experienced senior speech pathologists, in person, via Teams/email
Tailored supervision and professional development plan to transition theoretical knowledge and skills to practice
Regular monthly group supervision opportunities to discuss with other speech pathologists in the organisation
Transdisciplinary group supervision opportunities to discuss and share knowledge with occupational therapists and behaviour support practitioners
What would my Caseload look like?
Working at AEIOU provides you with early exposure to a wide range of neurodiverse clients, that will help to accelerate your professional growth right from the start.
Each child has an individual plan with individualised goals that is developed by our multidisciplinary team, including you as their Speech Pathologist.
Enjoy delivering services in different settings—whether it's running group programs, one on one work with children and parents, or support outreach activities with local schools. This variety will sharpen your skills and help you find your niche in the field of speech pathology.
Our Graduates are introduced to a set caseload of clients to ensure consistent care and the opportunity to implement significant progress as children are seen on a regular basis. Our caseloads will often be less than in mainstream services and private practices, to allow a high duty of care to our cohort.

Full time or part time clinic-based position
Work from home for report writing/documentation with built in admin time
Options with no travel required, and/ or options to work across Centres or outreach services with schools.
Easy access to our Centres with staff parking, and;

A tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and a certified practising membership with SPA
