The Role: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Clinical Operations Director to oversee and drive the delivery of high-quality care at VeteranCann. This is a pivotal leadership role, responsible for managing our multidisciplinary healthcare team and ensuring seamless operational excellence. You'll collaborate with specialists in pain management, psychology, and medicinal cannabis to provide innovative and comprehensive care tailored to the unique needs of veterans.
As a key member of the leadership team, you will ensure compliance with Australian healthcare regulations, oversee claims processing, and drive initiatives to improve the health and wellness of those we serve.
What You Will Own: Leadership & Team Management: Oversee the clinic's multidisciplinary team, including doctors, nurses, and holistic health professionals, ensuring excellent care delivery. Medicinal Cannabis and Pain Management Protocols: Lead the development and execution of individualised treatment plans, leveraging medicinal cannabis as part of a holistic approach. Veteran-Focused Services: Coordinate third-party healthcare services such as ECGs, health assessments, and preventative care, and connect veterans to community resources for vocational and educational support. DVA Claims Management: Oversee claims processing for veterans, ensuring compliance and timely access to care through the Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA). Chronic Disease Programmes: Manage the Coordinated Veterans' Care (CVC) programme, ensuring continuous support for veterans with chronic conditions. What We Are Looking For: Proven experience in healthcare management, particularly within pain management, mental health, and/or medicinal cannabis clinics. Strong knowledge of DVA claims processes and requirements in Australia. Exceptional leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and operations. A passion for veteran care, with a strong focus on patient-centred service delivery. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. What We Can Offer: Completely remote work environment.
