Central Adelaide Local Health Network Statewide Clinical Support ServicesMedical Imaging, WCH, North AdelaideSalary: AHP-3 $104,180 - $111,746 (pro-rata)10% Attraction and Retention allowance and penalty rates payable in addition to the base salaryPermanent part-time working 22.5 hours per weekAbout the role The Specialist Radiographer Trauma is responsible for the provision of trauma imaging procedures using specialised equipment to perform complex medical imaging examinations for clients across a range of imaging modalities with a high level of professional independence.The incumbent continues to obtain specialist knowledge regarding trauma radiography, contributes to developing professional knowledge of other radiographers and to professional imaging standards relating to trauma radiography, specifically in CT and X-Ray.The incumbent undertakes routine research programs and may coordinate trauma imaging quality assurance programs. Supervision, education and training of junior radiographers to ensure high imaging standards and participation in departmental CPD programs.The incumbent is responsible for the provision of more complex imaging services, using specialised equipment to perform diagnostic medical imaging examinations for clients across a range of clinical specialities, with minimal professional direction.About us Statewide Clinical Support Services (SCSS) is a unique public healthcare organisation that serves health consumers and provides specialist clinical services to the health system in South Australia.
