To support our continued organisational growth, we are currently seeking a Manager Specialist Support to join our innovative, passionate team.

In this role you will lead, mentor and manage a team of Specialists in Accommodation, Attendant Care, Home Modifications and Assistive Technology (AT), and Provider Management. While leading your team, you will drive a culture of person-centred care, facilitating informed decision making that empowers Lifetime Support Scheme (LSS) Participants. You will implement the service provider management framework and probity processes associated with the management of a range of specialist support service providers.

You will be responsible for developing and managing strategies, programs and work standards, including operational policies and processes, for delivery of person-centred, and often complex, Specialist Support services.

You will collaborate with and lead the provision of high-quality specialist advice to a range of internal staff, participants and families, service providers and other external stakeholders to assist in planning person centred necessary and reasonable treatment, care and support, mitigating risks, and ensuring seamless specialist support service provision.

Extensive experience working within an allied health person-centered framework including identifying service delivery risks, issues and opportunities for improvement and applying best practice models of health and disability care to guide innovative resolution of complex issues. Extensive experience working with people with serious injury and comprehensive knowledge of the issues related to the national disability and health sectors including the needs of individuals with a disability and/or culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and continuous improvement methodologies for person-centered health and disability service delivery. Significant experience in providing specialist advice for, and planning and implementing allied health and complex care frameworks in a health, disability or personal injury related industry. Demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of contemporary methods and emerging trends, principles and practices. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with a range of stakeholders. Strong analytical and writing skills, with the ability to deconstruct critical risk issues and prepare concise reports will be key to success in this role. The Lifetime Support Authority (LSA) delivers the LSS which funds necessary and reasonable treatment, care and support for people who sustain serious injuries in a motor vehicle accident on South Australian roads, regardless of fault.

Position Conditions: Full-time, Ongoing opportunity.

Remuneration: AHP4 ($114,314 - $124,449) + Management Allowance ($2,449) and Superannuation.

Special Conditions Appointment is subject to a satisfactory Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) that is no more than six months old, and a Department of Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check (WWCC) which is required to be renewed before expiry. Some out of hours work may be required. Some intrastate/interstate travel may be required, including to health and community facilities, and participants' homes.
