We pride ourselves on our commitment to innovation and excellence, delivering high-quality projects around the world.The Optimised Mill Lining product group is responsible for the offering and solutions that create and continuously improve customer value by combining Mill Lining products, value-added services, and tools, digitally enabled information, and product and customer process expertise. This newly created role will take an active role in our exciting journey towards being a Tier 1 company by contributing to the successful growth of building value-adding solutions for our customers.The location of this global position is to be determined by the successful applicant's closest location to a major Metso office. Please note only those with full working rights to these office locations will be considered as no visa support is available for relocation.What you will do:Act as an internal comminution process consultant, supplying metallurgical process expertise and advice to mill lining Business Area (BA) and Market Area (MA) mill lining Technical Sales Support (TSS) teams.Be a key strategic driver of Optimized Mill Lining product and value management, determination, development, and deployment.Interlink between BA, Expert Services, and other product groups to develop collaborative opportunities.Develop and deploy value determination modelling tools.Interpret, analyze, and communicate process modelling and simulation results.Conduct processing benefit analysis and communicate customer value as delivered by mill lining design updates for new and existing customers.Provide remote commissioning support for mill lining design implementation and operation.Generate literature and present at industry events.Support idea generation for digital tools and systems within mill lining BA to enhance comminution/processing aspects of sales cases and analysis.Develop continuous and proactive optimization elements into contractual supply agreements, including performance-based concepts.Be a key member for market area and site-specific proactive sales strategies and win plans.Ensure fulfillment of all QEHS rules and regulations of Metso and Customers.The successful candidate will:Be motivated, driven, and have the ability to lead themselves.Hold a Master's level tertiary qualification in Metallurgy, Chemical, or Process Engineering with 10+ years of experience in the operation of minerals processing concentrators, including comminution circuits.Display a visionary, continuous improvement mindset, actively challenging the status quo with a focus on long-term goals.Possess strong commercial acumen with a customer-oriented outlook.Exhibit a high level of communication and customer service skills.Have a strong focus on safety, built on transparent and open communication.Be able to travel as required by Motor Vehicle or Commercial or Charter Flights.What's in it for you?Global Perspective – collaborating with all stakeholders of the entire Metso organization.Wellbeing and safety - benefit from occupational healthcare, generous benefits plan, healthy living rewards, mental well-being services, on-site gym, meal benefits, car/bicycle benefits, and engagement surveys.Annual bonus - global incentive programs tied to business and performance targets.Hybrid working possibilities - while we advocate for meeting and collaborating in person, we believe in fostering a flexible work environment.Extensive learning opportunities - ongoing growth dialogues, internal mobility, mentoring programs, education assistance, ambitious projects, and global opportunities.Worldwide support - leverage our network of peers across the world, offering valuable assistance.
