About the RoleBHP Technology is looking for an Operational Technology Technician to join our Technology Site Operations team to support Infrastructure & Services in Central Queensland. The role is responsible for undertaking preventative maintenance and providing technical field support for Villages and Airport Operational Technology Systems. The role is a Full-Time position with BHP on a DIDO/Residential role on a Monday to Thursday (4/3) roster. Reporting to the Supervisor Operational Technology for I&S.Your responsibilities:Ensuring day to day availability and maintenance of sites Operational Technology SystemsExperience in the following Operational Technology Systems would be considered.Network and Servers, CCTV, Physical Access Management, Key Management Systems, Wi-Fi (Meraki) Servers, Security Applications.Provides Subject Matter Expertise (SME) to support teams to resolve priority issues.Execute work orders as per schedule and/or directed by the Technology supervisor and completing the relevant work instructions associated with the work orders.Provide input into root cause analysis and subsequent resolution of issues affecting equipment reliability.Validate quality of work performed prior to completion.Review and request updates to Work Management and other Master Data as required.Complete work management processes during shift and update supervisor.Supporting Planning activities, in line with SAP Maintenance Strategies.About YouAs the successful candidate will have:Cert 3, or Trade certificate in Industrial Wireless Communications, Electronics or Industrial Electrical/InstrumentationFamiliarity with Mining Operational Technology Infrastructure, Communication Networks IT/OT, Wi-Fi, Servers, Security ApplicationsA proven track record of Safety within a Coal Mining operational environment or similar preferred.An ability to prioritise effectively and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.Proactive in identifying areas of improvement in the management of Technology systems.Takes ownership of ideas/solutions and sees them through to maturity.Build relationships with customers/partners/site departmentsSound communication and interpersonal skillsAustralian C class driver's licenseCoal mine exposure would be advantageousOpen/unrestricted Cabling License preferableDesirable Experience:SAP Work ManagementWorking at Heights, Confined Space and First Aid trainingGallagher and ISIC certifiedAbout Our ProcessAt BHP, we are committed to employing individuals who align with the BHP Charter Values and meet the requirements of the role.
