Are you passionate about data-driven decision-making and technological innovation in the mining industry?
We are looking for a skilled Operational Technology (OT) Data & Analytics Specialist to join our team and play a critical role in transforming coal mining operations.
Reporting into the Principal OT Data and Analytics, you will be accountable for driving performance and reliability of operations and reporting systems to ensure compliance to management system requirements.
What you will do: System engineering deliverables and product advancementManaging WHC Coaltrak system reliability and functionality requestsConvert operational ideas into system functionality designs that foster innovation and creativityManaging vendors activities and prioritiesDelivering change requests on time on budgetWhat you will bring: Bachelor's degree in IT or relevant industry experienceDemonstrated IT Project management successDemonstrated skills in the full range of MS office systemsAbility to troubleshoot and triage defects to the necessary vendors / stakeholders to get the best result for WHCAbility to convert mining language / requests into software functionality requirementsMining or logistics industry experienceWhy Whitehaven Coal: 26 wks.
