Specialist Operator - AELEC (Contract 8 Months)Location: Tamworth NSWTHE OPPORTUNITYDelivering a service to customers/Event OrganisersOperating and maintaining a range of equipment e.g specialist mowers, forklift, tractor with multiple varying implements, trucks, water carts etcMaintenance of property, buildings, structures, grounds and association infrastructureCOULD THIS BE YOU?Do you have experience in operating a range of equipment or machinery and knowledge about livestock? Are you able to interact confidently with Event Organisers and Customers as well as work in a fast-paced environment? This could be the role for you!Council is seeking a team player with a good work ethic. You will have an understanding of stock handling and stock behaviour as well as the ability to communicate well and work autonomously.The Specialist Operator AELEC is responsible for:Operating and maintaining mobile and fixed plant for horticulture and building maintenanceOperating and maintaining a range of equipment e.g. specialist mowers, backhoe and front-end loaders, forklift, tractor with multiple and varying implements, trucks, water carts.Controlling traffic around the worksiteStock handling skill and knowledge and understanding of stock behaviourMaintenance of property, buildings, structures, grounds and associated infrastructure; including buildings, yards and fencing, lawns and gardens including irrigation, plumbing and electricalDelivering a service to customersMonitoring and maintaining a safe workplaceTO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEEDCertificate III in Civil Construction, Horticulture, Plant or Similar OR significant relevant experience in functions associated with this positionNSW Manual Drivers LicenceImmunisations for Hepatitis, Tetanus and Q Fever (willingness to undergo)WHS Construction InductionINTERESTED?
