The Specialist Operator – AELEC is responsible for: Operating and maintaining mobile and fixed plant for horticulture and building maintenanceOperating and maintaining a range of equipment eg. Specialist mowers, backhoe and front end loaders, forklift, tractor with multiple and varying implements, trucks, water carts.Controlling traffic around the worksiteStock handling skill and knowledge and understanding of stock behaviourMaintenance of property, buildings, structures, grounds and associated infrastructure; including buildings, yards and fencing, lawns and gardens including irrigation, plumbing and electricalImplementing horticultural operational practicesWorking effectively with othersUsing a range of communication skills in the workplaceDelivering a service to customersUnderstanding and carrying out instructionsMonitoring and maintaining a safe workplaceTO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED Certificate III in Civil Construction, Horticulture, Plant or similar OR significant relevant experience in functions associated with this positionWHS Construction InductionManual Driver LicenceINTERESTED? Salary range: Grade 8 -$1,116.30 - $1,208.00 per week(plus penalty rates for weekend work and 11% superannuation) for a 38 hour work week, spread across a seven (7) day roster, but not exceeding 152 hours in any 4 week period. Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience and your value to our organisation.
Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements.
