Assist in planning, assessing and evaluating our clients' needs with the help of our multidisciplinary team to promote positive health outcomes. The Registered and Enrolled Nurses provide clinical support to our clients and collaborate with our support workers to deliver exceptional care to our clients in the community. As a Specialist Nurse, you will be responsible for overseeing nurses in the community as well as contributing to Continuous Improvement projects. Working closely with the Clinical Team Leader, you will foster a culture of positivity, hard work, and accountability whilst ensuring quality care is being provided.
Key Responsibilities Mentoring and building relationships with nursing staff on the roadProviding upskilling and education opportunities for staffMonitoring training records, performance appraisals, and skills competencyMonitoring and responding to hazards, incidents, and complaints/concernsContributing to continuous improvement projects and accreditation requirementsAbout You AHPRA Registration and current First Aid CertificateRecent nursing/clinical experience in the last 5 years or evidence of a refresher courseEffective communication, interpersonal, and organisational skillsInitiative and the desire to continually improve client careCapability to prioritise tasks and achieve goals within set timeframesCandidates with an understanding of the community nursing sector - Home Care Packages, Department of Veteran Affairs and Commonwealth Home Support Program will be considered favourablyA desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organisationWhy work for Calvary?
