Permanent 3 months ago , from Medrecruit AU - Specialist Consultants Our client is advertising an opportunity for a Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist General Medicine to permanently join their team at a public hospital in QLD.The ideal start date for this position is ASAP.Permanent | Full time | General PhysicianCompetitive renumeration package based on full time equivalent value up to $580,000pa including attractive leave and superannuation contributionThe RoleProvide inpatient and outpatient services to Medical departmentContribute to the development of physician trainees and resident medical officersManage on a day-to-day basis the associated multidisciplinary patient care teamThe HospitalThe Medical Ward is a 16-bed unit that predominantly cares for patients in the areas of general medicine, including those with cardiac, respiratory, endocrine, neurological, and renal ailments.The ward also specialises for those who require palliative care services and the hospital contains a 10-chair Renal Unit and a 6-chair Cancer Care Unit.Specialist outreach patient services are managed from the hospital, which is the major hub for Telehealth services across the entire north-west service area, with five primary health care clinics andsix hospital sites having access to 24/7 medical and nursing and midwifery support for the advice and management of lower risk emergency department presentations and other outpatient care.
