One such opportunity is the role of Specialist Project Advisor within our Engineering Services South Australia team. Reporting to the respective Project Management, the Specialist Project Advisor will play a lead role in the management and balance of project requirements, budget, production and delivery of short to medium term projects whilst maintaining client relationships.The Specialist Project Advisor is responsible for supporting the full lifecycle of project management tasks as part of the Engineering Services SA team working with DSTG customers to:Engage with subject matter experts and capability providers to co-design plans to meet Project requirements.Provide support when required to the relevant Intelligence Program team to engage with internal and external stakeholders and sponsors to understand project scope and requirements.Plan, manage and review outcomes of project scope, time, cost, quality, resources, communication, procurement and integration.Record and maintain program/project data (project funds, deliverables, schedules, status updates, risk, issues, change and decision registers) in specified Project Management tool.Work closely with the Divisional Programs Office to deliver program/project reports.Provide the secretariat function to program/project board meetings.Support stakeholder visits and events for relevant programs.As an ideal applicant for this senior role, you will need:Defence Intelligence domain experience.A strong knowledge and skills in project management tools and methodologies.Experience managing full project and program lifecycles in a complex environment.Programme and Technical (Defence, Engineering, Science, Technology) background with real world delivery experience.Experience in managing technical, engineering, sustainment and facilities projects throughout the entire project lifecycle would be highly desirable.Demonstrated communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.A demonstrated ability to cultivate a broad network of relationships and influence with key internal and external stakeholders.Experience negotiating commercial and projects/services delivery with senior Defence customers/stakeholders.Due to the nature of the role, applicants must hold a PV level Australian Defence security clearance.Whilst applications must be made online, confidential enquiries are welcome and may be directed to Joanne Burns via ****** for an Employer with Benefits?At QinetiQ, our competitive remuneration and benefits package supports your evolving needs throughout your career.
