Why this role is significant As a Spa Coordinator, you are the primary point of contact in the spa and play a significant role in ensuring an exceptional experience for our guests. You are a key collaborator, responsible for ensuring smooth spa operations, including opening and closing procedures, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and greeting and orienting guests. Your attention to detail, friendly demeanour, and ability to manage multiple tasks will be critical in delivering a pristine and rejuvenating spa experience.
A day in the life Create a welcoming environment for guests, providing excellent customer service throughout their visit.Provide knowledgeable recommendations for treatments and products based on individual client needs.Efficiently book, modify, and remove appointments using Vagaro software.Coordinate appointment scheduling and ensure bookings are organized and efficient.Answer phones promptly and professionally, assisting with inquiries and reservations.Manage incoming emails through Outlook including appointments, inquiries, requests, etc.Follow procedures for invoicing, cash handling, and cash-out, meeting monthly sales targets.Perform opening and closing duties for the spa, including administrative tasks.Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of spa facilities, services, and retail products.Recommend spa products and maintain stock levels, following established product management procedures.Handle guest feedback and complaints with professionalism and empathy, resolving issues and exceeding expectations.What we hope you'll bring to the team You bring two years of customer service or administrative experience.You bring a professional, warm, and graceful presence.You have strong problem-solving abilities.An empathetic approach to actively listen and address any concerns.Attention to detail and organization comes natural to you.Effective, efficient, and professional communication skills.Open-minded and willing to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities.Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.Flexibility with your schedule including evenings and weekends.What's in it for you Your hourly wage will be $21.00 to $22.00, plus approximately $2.00 per hour in gratuities.We are committed to supporting the health and wellness of our team members through an extensive benefits package.Join an award-winning culture that values personal and professional growth, offering opportunities to develop your skills and advance your career.Enjoy employee discounts, including 50% off at the Brentwood Bay Pub, Arbutus Room, and on spa treatments at the Brentwood Bay Spa, as well as discounted room stays for you, your friends, and your family.At Brentwood Bay Resort, we believe that a wide range of experiences can contribute to your success in this role.
