We are seeking a dedicated Isolated Patients Travel and Accommodation Scheme (IPTAAS) Administration Officer for a patient-facing position where empathy meets efficiency. In this role, you'll navigate the complexities of the IPTAAS, ensuring equitable support for individuals traveling long distances for specialist healthcare. Your day-to-day will be dynamic and diverse, managing claims both online and via traditional mail, while assisting clients face-to-face with compassion. Expect to interpret and apply guidelines meticulously, balancing compliance with sensitivity to individual health challenges. As the anchor of our operations, you'll orchestrate daily tasks across a multi-functional team, ensuring seamless workflow amidst fluctuating demands. This includes allocating responsibilities, handling inquiries, and resolving complaints with diplomacy and efficiency.
Your role extends beyond administrative duties; you'll conduct audits, manage financial approvals, and facilitate bulk billing arrangements with hospitals statewide. Upholding meticulous standards, you'll review complex claims and provide interim approvals, safeguarding timely financial relief for patients in need. Strong communication skills are a must, as you'll liaise with stakeholders across healthcare sectors and manage ministerial correspondence with finesse.
