To be successful in this role you must: As a Sous Chef you will be responsible for overseeing and directing the preparation and production of meals in the restaurant; Responsible for food preparation and production; Managing and coordinating food supply and stock ordering; Assisting the head chef in new menu production, and menu tasting; Ensuring effective stock purchasing and waste control; Assisting in the training and mentorship of junior and apprentice chefs; Oversee the writing and costing of all kitchen rosters via Tanda; Set high levels of work ethic standards by adopting a 'Hands On' management style; Produce all dishes to a consistent standard; Ensure all kitchen activities meet the organizational requirements for quality management, health and safety.
