Sous Chef

Title of Position: Sous Chef

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year + Super

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated full time Sous Chef to join our team to ensure our top service and quality in this economy.
The Sous Chef will be cooking in a high-pressure environment and team leading other line cooks. Sous Chef must be able to work in
a multicultural environment.

Sous Chef Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist the head chef with the overall operation of the kitchen
- Assist the design and review of the menu
- Prepare, season and cook in a timely manner
- Staff management delegating tasks to ensure efficiency and consistency with the menu
- Train existing and new kitchen staff
- Maintain effective inventory control and cost control
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations

We are seeking a senior chef with the following criteria:
- have Thai / Asian cuisine background
- have at least three years of related work experiences in commercial kitchen
- have Diploma qualification in relevant field. Must have Certificate III or IV in commercial cookery
- have leadership skills
- have adequate English for communication
