The Opportunity This newly established club located in the Northern Suburbs, renowned for friendly atmosphere, exceptional service and delicious culinary offerings.
The kitchen is the heartbeat of the club serving a diverse range of elevated gastropub style meals.
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Sous Chef to join this dynamic team.
You will play a key role in assisting the Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen operations.
You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene ensuring that every dish leaving the kitchen is a delight for patrons.
Key Responsibilities: Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, creation, and cost management Oversee food preparation, ensuring recipes and techniques are followed consistently Supervise kitchen staff, including training and development Maintain inventory levels and control food wastage Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Collaborate with the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional dining experiences What we are looking for: Enthusiastic and personable with a track record of strong leadership and innovative kitchens within fast paced pub or club restaurants Attention to detail and a love for fresh produce Exceptional communication skills across all levels of the business, guests and staff Confident with classic Australian cuisine with a modern twist.
You will be serving up a menu of classics done well.
