THE ROLE: Bringing a little bit of Italy to the tropics, Flynn's Italian is Crystalbrook Collection's signature Italian restaurant in Cairns. Reporting to our Executive Chef, you will work with a motivated team who are dedicated to providing the highest quality food experience that celebrates the best of Italian cuisine.
Your responsibilities would include:
Pioneer guest satisfaction at Flynn's Italian by delivering exceptional culinary experiences.Cultivate a culture of innovation and a penchant for pushing culinary boundaries.Provide hands-on leadership during all service periods and shifts.Collaborate closely with the F&B Service leadership team.Ensure rigorous departmental training aligns with our high standards.Foster seamless communication and coordination with all hotel departments.Oversee workplace health and safety procedures.Contribute to the creation of seasonal menus, promotional offerings, and event packages.Partner with the Executive Chef to manage budget expectations through insightful analysis, forecasting, and controls.Support efficient procurement, production, preparation, and presentation of all culinary delights.Champion the hotel's food safety program to meet and exceed regulatory requirements.Cultivate an engaged team environment with an outstanding local reputation, attracting and retaining top culinary talent.ABOUT YOU: To be successful in this position, we are seeking individuals who demonstrate:
