The Position
The role will join our customer and outcome-focused Procurement Services Team to coordinate and lead sourcing and tendering processes in a center-led procurement model. The role will partner with Council's people to enable and deliver value for money, effective community outcomes, and business efficiencies.

Qualifications & Experience
Degree qualifications in Procurement, Supply, Business Management, Contract or Commercial Law, a related field, or relevant, equivalent work experience Extensive experience leading procurement, sourcing, and tender administration activities, including project management and providing advice when interpreting contract law in diverse, high-value, and high-profile projects in a multi-faceted organisation High level knowledge and ability to interpret Contract Law and Local Government Legislation High level of computer literacy Strong knowledge and understanding of contemporary procurement and tender processes Tasks & Responsibilities
For dedicated areas, act as a key point of contact for specialist tendering activities, sourcing strategies, and procurement support. Build and promote effective stakeholder relationships with a customer-centric approach, collaborating with business units, project teams, subject matter experts, vendors, risk, and legal advisors. In line with policy and procedures, plan, lead, and coordinate end-to-end, centralised sourcing and tendering processes within council considering best practice, ethical conduct, social and environmental impact, and local government legislation. Author, interpret, and record contemporary, tailored procurement sourcing documentation ensuring accuracy, fit-for-purpose outcomes, use of plain English, and protective terms to safeguard AlburyCity and its community interests. Activate and control planned sourcing strategies. Hours
Based on a 35-hour week, with actual days and times being Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm, with an RDO in accordance with AlburyCity's RDO guidelines.
